There’s something for everyone seeking a degree in education at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana. We have many traditional and alternative academic programs offering online or campus courses. All of our programs are approved by the Indiana Department of Education and meet REPA 3 requirements (Rules for Educator Preparation and Accountability).

The Education Department at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is inspired by and strives to follow in the footsteps of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. While the Sisters of Providence currently engage in many ministries, one of their early ministries was teaching and service.

T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Indiana Scholarship Program supports the Preschool-Grade3/Mild Intervention, Early Childhood Mild Intervention, and Preschool-Grade3 Transition to Teaching Program.  T.E.A.C.H. pays 90% of tuition and books, provides an $85 travel stipend and a bonus of $500 upon completion of required credit hours.
